Some other stuff…
So, the brownies from the Bakesale were sent on their way. I took a picture of how much chocolate is in the brownies. That is about 2 lbs. worth of chocolate. These brownies are so rich and delicious. I really hope that the winning bidder enjoys them. I really want feedback on them.
Who knew that Chic-Fil-A had wraps with whole flaxseeds in them? This was a pleasant surprise. I went out for lunch the other day and ended up getting this wrap. It had spicy chicken, tomatoes, lettuce, red cabbage, cheese and a whole wheat wrap with flaxseeds. I don’t know about you guys, but this was really cool in my book. It might have just made my day.
I had posted about several of the gifts I got for my birthday but I hadn’t gotten around to the biggest one I got. I’m blaming the “lazy camera syndrome” for this one. On my birthday I went shopping. While I was out my husband had laminate flooring installed in our house. I’m in love with this floor. It looks beautiful and it is easy to clean. So much better than the awful carpet that was there before. I don’t think I will ever go back to carpet in a front room again. All in all the installation took 5 hours. It was a wonderful surprise. I have the best husband in the world!
And this is my reason for being. I don’t talk about him much because I tend to focus on other things in the blog, but I felt that I needed to put a pic of my little Bean on here. He is lying on the kitchen floor waiting for the brownies to be done. He really wanted one. I let him know that he couldn’t have one because they were for the Haiti Bakesale. He said, matter-of-factly, “I will wait for your next batch.” And to the floor he went. Needless to say I made him a mini batch. He’s so spoiled. Well, he is an only child after all.

That wrap does look and sound good! We don’t have one of those places around here otherwise I would try it out.
Awe… your son is so cute!!
Your house looks great! I’m not a fan of carpet…
